Background

Community input helped create a Plan of Management and Master Plan for Sydenham Green which were adopted by Council in December 2013.

A skatepark was proposed in the Plan of Management which attracted considerable support from the community.

  • Skate Park construction commences

    Construction of the skate park will begin in September 2017. During construction the portion of the park bound by Henry Street, Railway Lane and Railway Road will be closed to public access.

    The facility will open in early 2018.
